This cleverly re-designed model of our popular Sand Digger is ADA compliant so that it can be enjoyed by everyone. Resembling a heavy-duty construction vehicle, this shovel can be fully moved and operated with the two control handles. It challenges children’s hand-eye coordination as they master the controls, and their creativity as they pretend to build and demolish sand structures. The ADA Sand Digger eliminates the seat which comes with the standard model and is installed at the edge of a sandbox, which enables a wheelchair-bound user to pull right up to the controls and operate them without having to get in the sand. It is of course accessible to other users as well, and can be used while sitting or standing. Being installed at the edge of a sandbox, it has a 180 degree range of motion, and can reach any sand around it. It comes standard with a powder coating of blue paint, although other colors are also available.
